My counselling career spans over 10 years, during which I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families across clinical, educational, and community settings.
My work is primarily focused on supporting families and addressing parenting challenges, helping caregivers better understand and respond to their children’s emotional and behavioural needs. I have extensive experience working with children experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, social challenges, and school-related concerns.
I also work with adults navigating life transitions, self-esteem, confidence, and anxiety, supporting them in developing greater clarity, resilience, and emotional balance.
In addition, I have significant experience supporting immigrant and newcomer populations, offering culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care tailored to each client’s background and lived experience.
My approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Play Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, and Polyvagal-informed perspectives. I adapt my approach based on each client’s developmental stage and therapeutic goals.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors #26664. I offer services in both English and Farsi and aim to create a safe, collaborative, and supportive space for growth.
