Life can be stressful… and change can be challenging. You don’t have to do this alone. Together we can work toward the change you want to see in your life.

I have an abiding belief in the power of understanding the emotions that motivate our behaviours and the importance of meaningful connections in our lives.

My counseling philosophy is based on psychodynamic theory and a deep understanding of the complexities of relationship dynamics. I believe that connection and compassion are the foundations needed to empower people to make the desired changes in their lives. My compassionate, collaborative, person-centered and strengths-based approach means that I work to tailor my approach and interventions to meet each client’s unique needs.

I have worked with adolescents and adults for over 15 years, assisting clients with anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, relationship distress, and life transitions. Additionally, I have extensive experience supporting clients with body image issues, disordered eating and eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder.

I have a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of BC and am a member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors #7455. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches including mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and emotionally focused family therapy (EFFT); and am skilled in using an FBT (Modified Maudsley) approach for disordered eating.
